Geocache Description:

Are you a duck or a goose? Welcome to Graham Park another one of Springville's chaming parks. This should be a quick park and grab. The container is a match stick box. Take care when opening as this one is a bit unusual. You will need to twist the container so you can swing the barrel out.

This cache is located in Graham Park which has a couple of nice benches and a nice walking trail to stretch your leg. The trails winds its way around a marsh boggy area. There is a duck/bird house in the middle. We thought of hiding the cache in/near the bird house but we weren't sure how many people bring their hip waiters to a cache. We didn't think the duck or geese would be big fans of having a cache planted in their house.  When the water gets high from flash floods this won't be good cache to go find. Winter may pose some challenges as well if things aren't plowed out.

The dynamic mother/daughter geocaching  team AnniePTigger and Magneato (formerly known as SkeeterNSpeedy) are back in the game. After a 3 to 4 years in hibernation we’ve dusted ourselves off and located the plastic tub of geocaching treasures, hides, secrets and we are hitting the town of Springville. Come visit Springvile Iowa our home town and enjoy the sites, parks, shops, restuarants, and charm. Our goal is to place enough caches for you to spend the day in our little town. We have asked and gotten the permission from City Hall to business owners, and even the school….making Springville a cache friendly town. We hope you enjoy your adventure while you’re here.
