Another cemetery I found while heading towards the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve to do some hiking.
While exploring the area found the grave markers of a 5 year old boy and another nearby marker for a 1 year old.
Check out - but DO NOT enter - the ruins of either a school or a chapel just south of this cemetery. Sign at cemetery was named "Cedar Grove", so that is what I went with though some maps may have this labeled as "Beman".
Container that you will be searching for is a SMALL AMMO can.
To get to this cemetery, travel north/south on KS Hwy 177. Turn east onto H Ave OR G Ave and travel roughly 5 miles (approximate) to its intersection with 500 RD. Turn north and travel roughly 3 miles (approximate) to cemetery. Cemetery will be on west side of road.
I dropped off a TB/coin that I found on a recent excursion to New Mexico/Colorado as well.
Remember that this is a cemetery and please follow any/all rules/regulations that may be posted and that we have all seen on other page write-ups concerning these areas.
