Geocache Description:

All GeoCachers are welcome!

This SPECIAL meeting will be held at the Mandeville Cafe Du Monde.

1814 North Causeway Blvd
Mandeville,LA. 70471-3150
(985) 951-7474

7:00 p.m. Thursday Nov. 7th 2013.

We will be celebrating Astronaut Rick Mastracchio delivering a Travel Bug® to the International Space Station. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and provide other educational lessons. The mission is currently scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan at 4:08 GMT on November 7 and we want to be there (at least in spirit).

We will have an area to move and/or Discover Geocoins & TravelBugs.

We would like to welcome all the new Geocachers.

Come out to meet your fellow Cachers!

Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November  7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.
