This marks the entrance to Quiet Water which is the only planned development community in Yachats.
Quiet water is a planned development that was started in 1983. It currently consists of 73 lots of which 52 have homes. It is a unique mixture of smaller "cabins" on cluster lots along the river and moderate size homes on somewhat larger standard lots situated on higher ground. It has an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. All the buildings a uniform grey with white trim. I guess you have to have rules when you have a Home Owner Association.
You are looking for a 4 X 4 lock-n-lock. There is a "path" on the Northwest side so please use that.
