Geocaching in Space - And Eating Pizza

Join geocachers worldwide for an of out-of-this-world event (literally). A Geocaching Travel Bug is hitching a ride to the International Space Station on November 6th. American astronaut Rick Mastracchio will carry the Travel Bug on his six month mission. He plans to use the Travel Bug as a tool to teach students on Earth, in his home state of Connecticut, about geography and science. He’ll also earn the Solar System’s most elusive smiley and find the International Space Station geocache. is awarding a special space based souvenir to all who attend an event on either November 6th or 7th.
