NOTE: My preferred method of communication is through notes on the cache page in question. However, should you wish to use email - please do not select "reply". In general, a replay to the mail bot will not reach me. Instead, please go to your cache page and e-mail GeoCrater from the log there or email me directly at, referencing the cache URL, or waypoint number.

Geocache Description:

This is one of the most stunning spots anywhere.  The short hike to this spot is beautiful and the view from the cache location cannot be beat.  Finding this cache takes you to Punta Uva (Grape Point), a terrifc spot all around.  We took multiple readings to get these GPS coordinates and the cache is on land, not in the water, as it initially appears on our map.

Punta Uva, near Puerto Viejo of Talamanca, is a fantastic place to visit.  The water is incredibly clear and great for many activities.  There is great snorkeling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, swimming and lounging around on the beach.  And, the short hike (~ 5 minutes) takes you past the grave of the (apparent) last pirate of the area.  We were also told that the most recent (and not yet released) Pirates of the Caribbean movie just finished filming here.  The trailhead to the cache starts at the south end of the beach, near the point itself.  It's a short walk through the forest out to the farthest reach of the point.  You'll be rewarded with a beautiful view.  It is not near the edge of the dropoff.

Finding this cache is guaranteed to put a big smile on your face.
