This cache, published simultaneously with ‘POLLUX’ might otherwise have featured under the title ‘SNAIL s PACE’, both commencing at the same coordinates. However, rules do not permit of this. These twin caches, a mix of Yin and Yang, were conceived to commemorate Team Caracache’s MM find. However, this notable event still remains on the horizon. Meanwhile, Espargosas is fast running out of ‘positively the last’; ‘ultimate’ and ‘ absolutely no more’ caches. So, in anticipation of the great event, and the possibility that Espargosas will have expired in a hiss of steam by the time that the momentous MM occasion occurs, this cache commemorates a great team that has provided and found some great caches. Go! Team Caracache, GO!
The second concept of Castor and Pollux, is an attempt to create two caches located some distance apart but published simultaneously and with a common theme that, with “a little bit of luck”, may result in FTFs by different geocachers.
The last five digits of both northing and westing coordinates for the cache site can be obtained at the given coordinates. Optionally, add 00.003’ to the northing coordinates and subtract 00.056’ from the westing coordinates to find a rewarding location that was originally intended as the cache location but, for reasons that will become apparent, had to be abandoned.
Note well. This cache contains a built-in, ‘home’ advantage to Team Caracache to be FTF but that is considered fair under the circumstances.
