Hiking Trails of JDSP, a multi cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The Wilson and Kitching Creeks hiking trails, and surrounding multi-use trails, will take you through the pine flatwoods of JDSP. This plant community occurs where the ground is so flat that there is little drainage of water off the land or into the soil after it rains.
The most common tree found in this community is the slash pine. Under the pines, you will find saw palmetto, gallberry, and wax myrtle. Wire grass is the most abundant grass which is fire dependent and the common food for the Gopher Tortoise. Cypress trees, Turkey Oaks, and Cabbage Palms can be found in this community as well. Ferns can be found growing close to the creeks.
Now about the cache: You will need to find the answers to the following questions at each listed set of coordinates beginning with the given coordinates for question A. Use this format to determine the final set:
N27 00.DEB, W080 09.FAC
A. How many times is the word "Kitching" found on this sign?
