Geocache Description:

Uplifting graffiti is written on the buildings on Chasqui’s street

Graffitis que eleva se escribe en los edificios de la calle de Chasqui

This cache is inside Chasqui’s house. Enjoy readings the poems he’s painted on the buildings on his street. (In fact, you can find his messages painted on buildings all over Acolla.) Chasqui is a marathon runner, and takes his name from the messengers that ran messages all over Peru during the days of the Incan Empire. A few years back, he ran the entire Incan Road from Ecuador, through Peru, to Bolivia. He invites you to knock on the door and come in to find the geocache container hidden in his art studio. His artwork takes its themes from the scenes and symbols of the Andes. You're welcome to chat about geocaching or the history of the Yanamarca Valley: he’s one of the most knowledgeable guides to the area. He speaks Spanish and German, and a little English. Even if he’s not home, the murals he has painted on the buildings on this street are fun to see.

The cache is a small tupperware box.

Habla español y alemán, y un poco de Inglés. Incluso si él no está en casa, los murales que ha pintado en los edificios de esta calle son divertidos para ver.
