Os adventistas do sétimo dia, com 18 milhões de membros, são uma igreja cristã organizada em 1863 nos Estados Unidos.
Sua origem ocorre logo depois do movimento liderado por Guilherme Miller em 1863 nos Estados Unidos. Este edifício foi construído por MARANATHA Flights International em 1979 mas anteriormente já a Igreja Adventista do 7º Dia já existia em Ponta Delgada.

Its origin comes shortly after the movement led by William Miller.
