このキャッシュはケーブル坂本駅への道（右）と本坂経由で延暦寺に参拝する道（左）の分岐点にあります。

Cable Sakamoto Station is a funicular station in Otsu, Shiga, Japan. This station is the lower terminal of the funicular. The Station building was built for the opening of business of 1927. It is enrolled in a tangible cultural property in 1997. Platforms are on the both sides of one terminating track.
ケーブル坂本駅は、滋賀県大津市坂本本町にある比叡山鉄道が運行する坂本ケーブルの駅です。坂本ケーブルの山下駅に相当し、駅舎は1927年の開業以来の建物で1997年に国の登録有形文化財に登録されています。ホームは軌道の両側に作られており、スロープではなくゆるい階段状です。
