HoustonControl: The hiding spot for this one had deteriorated to the point that rehiding a cache there would be pointless -- and I could find no good alternate hiding spot nearby. Archiving.

Geocache Description:

Quick find in a nice park.  Park hours are from daylight to dusk.

Berty tube in David G. Burnett park. Please bring your own pen.

The park sits on the site of the homestead of David G. Burnett, first provisional President of the Republic of Texas. He lived on this site from 1836 - 1858. Should be an easy find, but take a little time to enjoy the beauty of this spot.
