Geocache Description:

III GeoPasseio na Mata Nacional dos 7 Montes

Sábado - 12 Abril 2014 - 10h00

Percurso pedestre circular com extensão aproximada de 7 Km.
Os caminhos a utilizar são de alcatrão e terra batida.
O desnível do percurso é médio.
Não te esqueças de trazer água e chapéu.

Fim do GeoPasseio estimado para as 13h30.

Aconselha-se o uso de roupa confortável e calçado adequado.

Ao longo do percurso vão ser efectuadas diversas pausas.
Durante as pausas serão dadas breves explicações históricas acerca da Mata.

Após o GeoPasseio irá realizar-se um piquenique no parque de merendas da Mata (equipado com mesas e bancos).
Se desejares participar deverás trazer comida.
Podes deixar a comida para o piquenique na viatura.
Quando terminarmos o passeio vamos às viaturas buscar a comida.
No entanto, é aconselhável que leves água e alguma coisa para comer durante o passeio (barras de cereais, bolachas, fruta, etc).

Nos pontos adicionais estão indicadas as coordenadas do estacionamento recomendado.

Para fazer o "attended" deste evento não é necessário participar na caminhada, basta aparecer nas coordenadas publicadas à hora marcada.

Na "Mata dos Sete Montes" só é permitida a entrada de cães com trela.

Saturday - 12 April 2014- 10h00

Pedestrian circular path with approximate length of 7 Km.
The paths to be used are made of tar and beaten earth.
The slope of the route is average.
Don't forget to bring water and hat.

The end of the GeoHike is estimated for 13h30.

It is advisable to use comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear.

Along the route will be performed several breaks.
During breaks will be provided some brief historical explanations about the place.

After the GeoHike will be held a picnic in Mata's picnic area (equipped with tables and benches).
If you wish to participate you should bring food.
You may leave the food for the picnic in the vehicle.
When we finished the ride we will go to the vehicles and bring the food.
However it is advisable to bring water and something to eat during the ride (cereal bars, crackers, fruit, etc).

In the additional waypoints you will find the coordinates of the recommended parking.

To "attend" this event it's not required to participate in the hiking, just show up at the published coordinates on time.

Dogs are only allowed to enter in "Mata dos Sete Montes" with leash.
