Geocache Description:


Le Pont de l’Europe, inauguré en 2000, est le cinquième pont routier de l’agglomération orléanaise au dessus de la Loire. Long de 470 mètres, il relie Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle (au nord) à Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Mesmin (au sud).

Conçu par l'architecte Santiago Calatrava, cet ouvrage est d'une conception unique en France. Ses lignes simples et pures le rendent majestueux et son intégration dans un paysage exceptionnel est plutôt réussie.
