Ένα μέρος της δουλειάς μου σαν ελεγκτή της περιοχής είναι και η αναζήτηση κρυπτών με πολλά "DNF", που σημαίνει ότι πιθανά έχει χαθεί η κρύπτη ή με πρόταση για αρχειοθέτηση που σημαίνει ότι υπάρχουν άλυτα προβλήματα. Σε γενικές γραμμές οι παίκτες αποφεύγουν να αναζητούν κρύπτες με πολλά DNF ή προβλήματα, και συνεπώς είναι καλή τακτική ο έλεγχος των και η αντικατάστασή τους ή η δημοσίευση μιας σημείωσης που να ενημερώνει τους παίκτες ότι η κρύπτη είναι στην θέση της.

Η έλλειψη ενδιαφέροντος από τον ιδιοκτήτη της πιθανά να αποτελέσει αιτία αρχειοθέτησης της για να μην εμφανίζεται στις λίστες κρυπτών που κατεβάζουν οι παίκτες.

Dear cache owner,

I have been going through caches that have multiple "DNF" (did not find) logs, which is often a sign that a cache is missing, or with the "NeedsArchive" log, which means there are unsolved problems. Generally, cachers avoid hunting a cache with many DNF logs or problems, so it is a good idea for the Cache Owner to check the cache and either replace it or post a log to the cache page to tell fellow geocachers that the cache is still there.

No action by the cache owner may result in a cache being archived to keep the cache from appearing in local Pocket Queries.

National Theater of Athens

Hadrian's Library in Athens served as a model for the structure of the monument's facade which consists of a central part immensely enriched by decorative elements, a Corinthian-style column row and two lateral parts of a typical neo-classical composition. The influence from Renascence buildings is more than evident.

The National Theater was built between 1895 and 1901 according to the project of the German architect Hernest Ziller. It served as the official royal theater for the King's invitees until 1908 when it was given for public use. In 1924 it was renamed from "Royal Theater" to "National Theater." The original internal installations for the stage facilities such as the lighting and heating systems were among the most sophisticated of the kind for that times, designed by Viennese mechanics and constructed in Piraeus' factories.

The capital for the construction of the building was almost entirely donated by Stephanos Rallis, a prominent Greek from London, as well as by other members of the Greek community there, like Korialenes and Eugenides. Donations were also given by the Public Endowment Fund, and other sources following various initiatives of King George I.

In 1970 a study by the architect M. Perrakis, for the transformation of an experimental convertible theater, was conducted and apllied.

Εθνικό Θέατρο Αθηνών

Πρότυπο για τη σύνθεση της πρόσοψης του μνημείου ήταν η Βιβλιοθήκη του Αδριανού στην Αθήνα. Η πρόσοψη αποτελείται από ένα κεντρικό τμήμα πολύ πλούσιο σε διακοσμητικά στοιχεία, με κιονοστοιχία κορινθιακού ρυθμού και από δύο πλευρικά τμήματα με τυπική νεοκλασική σύνθεση. Είναι φανερή η επιρροή από κτήρια της Αναγέννησης.

Το Εθνικό Θέατρο κατασκευάσθηκε κατά το διάστημα 1895-1901. Αποτελεί μελέτη του Γερμανού αρχιτέκτονα Ερνέστου Τσίλλερ. Το κτήριο λειτούργησε ως επίσημο βασιλικό θέατρο με προσκλήσεις μέχρι το 1908, οπότε δόθηκε σε κοινή χρήση και το 1924 μετονομάσθηκε από "Βασιλικό Θέατρο" σε "Εθνικό Θέατρο". Οι αρχικές εσωτερικές εγκαταστάσεις σκηνής, φωτισμού και θέρμανσης ήταν οι τελειότερες στο είδος τους την εποχή εκείνη, μελετημένες από Βιεννέζους μηχανικούς και κατασκευασμένες σε εργοστάσια του Πειραιά.

Το κτήριο κατασκευάσθηκε με δωρεά κυρίως του Στέφανου Ράλλη, ομογενή από το Λονδίνο καθώς και άλλων ομογενών του Λονδίνου, του Κοριαλένη και του Ευγενίδη και, τέλος, με χορηγίες από το Δημόσιο Ταμείο, με πρωτοβουλίες του βασιλέα Γεωργίου Α΄.

To 1970 έγινε μελέτη διαμόρφωσης πειραματικής μετατρεπόμενης αίθουσας, του αρχιτέκτονα Μ. Περράκη, η οποία εφαρμόσθηκε.
