No, not THAT hobbit. This was a different hobbit. Mr. Drogo Bumbleroot of Haysend was his name. And he lived in his hole happily, gardening 'taters and smoking pipeweed and eating breakfasts and second breakfasts and elevenses and luncheons and afternoon teas and dinners and suppers...
Until his home was ransacked by muggles... er... Ringwraiths, and he was forced to relocate. He found another spot, even cozier and more tucked away, so that he could hide from the dark forces that had sacked his hobbity home. He changed his name to Drogo Bumbleroot of Bywater, because his hole lay near the waters of the Lake of Cortlandt.
Cache is located in a lovely little park by the water. We originally hid Drogo when we lived in Pennsylvania, but sadly, the cache got muggled. Now Drogo has returned! The walk is very easy - there is a path, and no bushwhacking required. A very well manicured park.
*Park closes at dusk*
Southernmost geocache in Putnam County!
