Geocache Description:

First geocache placed by 2nd Meadowvale Scouts, Mudduck Troop. The hike out and back is about 1 kilometer total.

The coordinates provided will place you near an entrance to a trail. Also nearby is a place 'we' usually spend a lot of time. To proceed to the cache, you are going to need information from the nearby signs.

Find the four digit number nearby and note the number as #1. Divide this number (#1) by the number found in our user name and note the resulting number as #2. Now look for another nearby sign that should suggest a number and note the suggested number as #3. Take the number you noted as #2 and remove the digit that matches the number you noted as #3 which should leave you with a three digit number.

If you have followed all of that, you can divide your three digit result by 1000 and then add it to both N43°26.816' and W79°56.920' to determine the actual coordinates of the cache.

When placed, the cache contained:

  • 3 in 1 Power Light
  • 2 ballpoint pens
  • 11 piece screwdriver
  • Swiss army type knife
  • Pack of 4 AA batteries (please only take 2 per visit)
  • 3 emergency rain ponchos

Additional Hints (Encrypt)

The four digit number is the address of the nearby campground. The suggestive sign is the name of that nearby campground. At the cache site, Look for an exposed culvert on a nearby trail from which a rock wall can be seen at a bearing of 300°. The cache is hidden within the rock wall.
