Jessie (aka JJ) was home-schooled for many years by her parents, James and Teresa Johnson and then later attended the Carlisle High School. This picture of a rose was submitted to an art contest that won her First Prize of a $25,00 0 scholarship to Kutztown College upon graduation, majoring in the arts. As a result of her death, the award was given to the runner-up and named the Jessie Johnson Award.

She had a lot of heart. She liked things like fairies and dragons. She enjoyed hiking and horseback riding. She was an avid animal and arts lover. She like to play a game with her pet goat by setting him on his butt and pushing him down the garden slide with all four legs in the air. She also found it funny to wear a bicycle helmet and antagonize George, the goat, into a head butting contest. Hilarious to watch from the kitchen window.

Upon her untimely death, this dragon picture was not complete. She had intended to finish the drawing and then make a sculpture. Her own words are written beside the picture; except, of course, the added notation at the bottom

At the home where she lived all of her life (the site of the cache), her parents have erected a Memorial Garden in her honor and for their own comfort. They are very proud of it so enjoy it if you like, but please do not be disrespectful.

This cache is dedicated to Jessie Eillene Johnson (January 4, 1993 - April 4, 2010). This is a picture of the garden in the front yard of their property. There is an on-site memorial at the site of the crash on Walnut Bottom Road approximately 3 miles west of the Stonehouse Road turnoff.
