Geocache Description:

A one-stage multi to make a quick visit in this cemetery.

Springhill Cemetery, aka the Newington Cemetery, is just south of Newington. You can use one of two options to solve this multi.

Once inside the cemetery grounds, look for the War Memorial.  You will need to gather information at this spot.

Option 1

From the posted coords (War Monument), walk 75 meters @ a bearing of 176 degrees.

Option 2 - if you like numbers

1.  How many World Wars are mentioned on the monument. (choice of answers - 2 - 3 - 4) (A)

2.  Count the number of soldiers listed on the south-side plaque. (choice of answers - 35 - 40 - 45) (B)

3.  How many of these soldiers were killed in action? (choice of answers - 1 - 2 - 3) (C)

4. When was this monument erected? (choice of answers - 1918 - 1953 - 1990) (D)

5. How many poppies and maple leafs are found on the monument? (choice of answers - 12 - 14 - 16) (E)

You should have five numbers. Add them up then substract from the following fake coords.

N 45 08 . 787 W 075 02 . 697
