Dizzy Heights of Lee Moor Trig Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

DizzyCacher: Came to check and possibly replace 2nd Jan. The area where I'd hidden it was all covered in moorland grass and everything looks the same. Couldn't find a hidey hole by the stone and can only assume the original cache is long gone. Due to the terrain and grass there was no point in trying to hide a cache which would be extremely difficult to find so I have decided to archive after all.

Geocache Description:

A small cache container which was once a vitamin pot, in one of the few hidey holes around.  A great spot on a clear day for miles and miles of panoramic views.

When the cache was placed I used the footpath from Quick Bridge through Cholwich waste where there are some other caches along the way, then via Penn Beacon, and Shell Top which is a 6 mile round trip.

As ever on Dartmoor be prepared for changeable weather, you might be able to see the rain coming from here but you'll never get back to the car in time to stay dry!

This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the National Trust in accordance with their geocaching guidelines.
