How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources!.
Welcome to Gonefishen07 and Tassieexpat's CITO event for Phillip Island.
This event is to coincide with the August souvenirs. Those that wish to attend will be rewarded with a souvenir from Groundspeak, a BBQ lunch (Snag in bread), knowing that you have done something for the environment and you have help improve the beauty of Phillip Island. There are certain area's on Phillip Island that need our help.
After consultation with Bass Coast Shire they are willing to help with this event. They have offered to donate some prizes and all rubbished collected will be disposed of at there expense. On the day we will have a trailer or something to collect rubbish bags etc at the posted coords.
At the Councils request I will be registering this event with "The Clean Up Australia Program". If you are interested you can visit the website at www.cleanupaustralia.org.au or there is app for those interested called "Report Litter"
