Trying to make it through the dog days of summer? Need an excuse to get out and grab one of Geocaching.com's souvenirs? Well come on out and say hello to your fellow geocachers at our laid back event! It's also a good way to beat the Missouri August heat! Air conditioning, anyone? ;)
Whether you've been out searching for the numerous caches in the Columbia area or just want an excuse to get out, come join Trillian, other fellow geocachers and I for some camaraderie, exchanging and sharing of trackables, geocaching stories and of course...food. With numerous restaurant offerings in the food court, there is surely something for everyone to enjoy.
If you've ever attended any of these EC&M events, you know what's going on. If not, though, the goal for this casual event is to provide an opportunity for everyone to get together and get to know each other better while meeting new cachers as well. This event is open to geocachers and those interested in geocaching. All are welcome!
Did you know that this day is also International Geocaching Day all throughout the world? Indeed it is! As such, if you attend this event, not only do you get the special International Geocaching Day 2014 souvenir, you'll be celebrating our beloved obsession with millions of people worldwide! How awesome is that?
You don't have to purchase any food to participate in this event. You do, however, have to find us though, as the above coordinates will only get you to the door to the food court. Look for a brightly-colored sign with the event cache number *GC59ABT* on it!
How long you choose to stay and how much of a mallrat you end up feeling like is up to you. So, come on over to our event, get out of the heat and say hello. We hope you have fun!
