This geocache is situated at the top of Chirundu Hill - at the Chirundu Beacon. There is also a Telecel mast up there now, so a reasonable jeep track will get you there, using 4x4.
However... a much more exciting trip is to go to Rifa and walk from there. There are great elephant paths all the way up. Stunning scenery.
Chirundu, I'm told means ant hills. You trip up the hill will take you past large numbers of ant hills - that all seem to cause erosion on the downhill side of the ant hill. These stand out as large scars on the hill, and are easily visiable from a distance, and even can be seen on Google Earth.
There is a real danger of elephants, lion and other things that may not like you... take care, or a man with a big gun!
