Geocache Description:

Arī bebrs no kādas zemūdens alas mūs pasveicināja.

Pa ceļam ir ne mazums gleznainu vietu – Bruņinieka lēciens, Andreja klints, Mārtiņa siena, Loreleja, Lojas lejteces ala, Lojas pilskalna ala, Lojas spraugala, Lojas plaisa un daudzas citas.

Piedāvājam Jums to visu izbaudīt pašiem, ejot ‘’Loja River Trail’’.

Loja river walley is called “Sigulda in miniature’’. And of course it is! The river, it’s walley, curves, mossy trees, ravines, rocky outcrops, caves and caverns and much more. In olden times Loja river was called ‘’Crayfish King Stream’’ (Vēžu ķēniņa strauts).  While placing the trail, we saw some crayfish (one pinched my finger) and even a beaver, who greeted us from an underwater cave.

There are many scenic places along the way- Knight’s leap, Andrej’s cliff, Martin’s wall, Loreleja, Loja lower cave, Loja castle mound cave, Loja crack and many more.

We offer you a chance to experience all that yourselves in “Loja River Trail’’. Theoretically it is possible to follow tourist trails while completing this trail, but then you will have to go through some bushwood and cross the river several times. The most comfortable way of finding these caches is coastering, we used it to place the caches. In any case, this is not a power trail, we like to call it an adventure trail. J So make sure you are ready to do some climbing, walking in water and getting wet.

A climbing harness and a few rope loops might come in handy, not all caches are easily accessible.

Good luck and happy geocaching!

Par slēpni:

Slēpnis atrodas nokaltušā kokā, kāpšana nav nepieciešama. Upes kreisais krasts

The cache is located in a dead tree, no climbing necessary. Left bank.
