Geocache Description:

Som vanligt var på denna tid hade soldaterna tagna namn, här har bott både en From, 1819-1824, en Vester, 1876-1880, 
och 1891 flyttade den siste indelte soldaten på torp nr 44, Petersson-Bark härifrån.

Stenhällen som tjänstgjorde som entrétrapp finns numer i Hovmantorps Hembygdspark som entrésten till Lagerlundskahuset, i föreningens museum finns även soldatskylten med nr 44 bevarad.

I det lilla torpet på ca 48 m2, bodde enligt husförhörslängden från 1901, 10 personer. Stugan hade kök, förstuga samt golvlagd vind.

Torpet revs och såldes på öppen auktion 1902, det blev återuppbyggt på Nygatan i Hovmantorp.

Idag finns som vid många andra torp i stort sett enbart rester av jordkällaren bevarad.

As usual at this time the soldiers had taken the name, therfore has lived both a From(devout), 1819-1824, a wester, 1876-1880,
and in 1891 moved the last allotted soldier croft at No. 44, Petersson-Bark from here.

The stone that served as an entrance stairway, is now in Hovmantorps Local Heritage Park as entrance stone to Lagerlundskahuset,
the societys museum also have soldier plate with No. 44 preserved.

In a small croft of about 48 m2, living uaccording to the parish notes in 1901, 10 people.
The croft had a kitchen, a small room and floor installed wind.

The cottage was pulled down and sold on open auction in 1902, it was rebuilt on Nygatan in Hovmantorp.

Today, as in many other crofts generally, only remnants of the root cellar is seen.
