Along a small pathway now isolated by the Freeway link, this cache is actually approachable from three directions.
A little known piece of history is that there used to be a railway line that ran from the City to Richmond, close to this side of the River. This cache must be quite close to the Botanical Gardens Railway Station that was here. Nothing seems to remain of either the station or the line now.
The cache is in a little patch of green that remains from the more recent Soccer/Rugby Park development beside it.
