O Pelourinho de Rebordainhos
Rebordainhos foi vila medieval, mas nunca chegou a possuir cabalmente o estatuto de concelho, embora gozasse ao longo dos séculos de autonomia administrativa e judicial. A autonomia de Rebordainhos chegava a destacava-se das demais vilas da região, uma vez que as justiças, ao invés de serem apeladas à comarca de Miranda, eram-no directamente ao Tribunal da Relação do Porto. A câmara era composta por um Juiz Ordinário, um Vereador e um Procurador, que até meados do século XVIII eram eleitos pelo povo local, sem sujeição a aprovação da comarca. Ainda que não possua foral, a localidade teve pelourinho, que ainda se conserva num pequeno largo. É actualmente freguesia do concelho de Bragança.
O pelourinho levanta-se sobre uma plataforma constituída por dois degraus quadrados, muito rústicos, servindo o térreo para nivelar o pavimento muito irregular. A coluna assenta directamente sobre o degrau superior. Eleva-se em fuste quadrangular na base, com esquinas levemente chafradas na maior parte da sua altura, tomando a secção octogonal. É cingida, a cerca de dois terços da base, por um aro metálico. Não possui capitel, sendo o remate composto por um bloco prismático sobre tabuleiro quadrado muito mutilado. O bloco tem as faces ligeiramente rebaixadas, decoradas com relevos de difícil leitura, dado o grande desgaste que apresentam. Parecem incluir uma face humana, uma lua, e uma cruz em aspa, ou de Santo André. Esta peça é finalmente encimada por um pináculo com ponta piramidal, de topo truncado.
O conjunto assume feição muito arcaica, reforçada pelo desgaste e rudeza das peças. Embora não seja possível datá-lo com precisão, poderá constituir uma particular declinação do estilo manuelino, caracterizável pela secção oitavada do fuste e pelo sabor arcaizante da decoração, aqui se incluindo a carranca românica e silvestre.

The Pillory of Rebordainhos
Rebordainhos was a medieval village, but it never fully acquired the status of municipal council, although it enjoyed for centuries the administrative and judicial autonomy. The autonomy of Rebordainhos stood out from the other villages in the region, since the justice, instead of being appealed to the County of Miranda, was appealed directly to the Court of Appeal of Porto. The chamber was composed of a Regular Judge, one Councillor and one Prosecutor until the mid-eighteenth century, which were elected by the local people without being subject to the approval of the county. Even without a charter, the town had a pillory, which is still preserved in a small square. Rebordainhos is currently a parish in the District of Bragança.
The pillory rises on a platform that consists of two very rustic, squared steps, whose purpose is to level the ground from the very uneven pavement. The column rests right on the upper step. The pillory rises in a squared shank at the base, with corners in the majority of its height, having an octagonal section. It is girded about two-thirds of the base by a metal hoop. It does not have a chapiter, and the shot is composed of a prismatic block on a much mutilated squared board. The block has slightly sunken surfaces, decorated with reliefs difficult to read because they have been worn out. It appears to represent a human face, a moon and a quote cross, or Saint Andrew. This piece is finally topped by a spire with a pyramidal tip, truncated at the top.
The set has very archaic features, enhanced by wear and roughness of the parts. Although you cannot date it accurately, it may constitute a particular declination of the Manueline style (Portuguese late Gothic style), characterisable by the style of the octagonal section of the shaft and the archaic flavour of the Romanesque, wild decor.

O recipiente (container) encontra-se escondido em N 41° 40.(665 + X) W 006° 51.(710 - Y) sendo X o número de talhas de pedra em cima do muro junto ao pelourinho, e Y o número de tanques de água (tanto vazios como cheios de água).
Seguir a trilha após calcular as coordenadas. A caminhada demora cerca de 15 minutos, e deve-se levar botas ou outro calçado apropriado para caminhar e subir montes.
How to find the container:
The container is hidden at N 41° 40.(665 + X) W 006° 51.(710 - Y) where X is the number of stone tiles on top of the wall right beside the pillory, and Y is the number of water tanks behind the pillory (both empty and filled with water).
Follow the trailhead after you calculate the coordinates. The walk takes about 15 minutes, and you should wear boots or other footwear appropriate for hiking and climbing mountains.
