The UP, there can be 4' or more of snow on the ground in the winter, especially this far North! Some people find this beautiful and are hearty enough to live here year around. (Not us!) Others, find it much more beautiful and enjoyable to visit in the summer. This cache is located at our favorite place to stay when we come up to hike the Porcupine Mountains. The owners are wonderful and friendly. Don is an avid hunter and has plenty of trophies on display...including a 610 lb. Black Bear! He has quite a variety, from bears, deer, fisher, turkey and fish on display. Take a look, but please be respectful of his mounted displays.
