Geocache Description:

Nature trail of Vác

The wonderful Nature trail of Vác can be found at the end of the Gombás-patak (Gombás-brook) The most beautiful parts of the forest are usually covered with water, so some volunteers of Göncöl Foundation built a 510-metre long, board path to help us to discover what's inside the forest. There are more than 120 plant species in the area, and countless instects, reptiles and few of amphibians. The presence of 130 bird spicies was registered in the forest, and only 40 of them are migratory birds.
