This cache is located next to Lake Superior on scenic Park Point in Duluth, MN. The cache is located within five minutes walking distance of the parking lot.
Park Point – Duluth, MN
Park Point Park attracts thousands of visitors annually. It is one of Duluth's favorite spots during the summer. Minnesota Point is the longest bay mouth sand bar in the world. It consists of 59 acres of open space surrounded by Lake Superior. If you time your hunt to be around sunset, you will have a breath taking view of the shimmering lights of Duluth, which is across Lake Superior.
Park in the lot at 46°43.897 N 92°03.160 W. Your originating path is directly in front of you. Please be careful of the poison ivy! The cache is located in a black ammo can and has two geocaching logos on it. You can take paths all the way to the cache. This is a fairly high traffic area, so the cache is well camouflaged. I have provided a detailed hint below.
