Altitude is 1047 ft and it is located in Newport, NH at the Town Forest. Easy walk. Many trails nearby for visitors to explore and have a day's fun. A perfect place for a family.
The cache is in a plastic container similar to an ammo box. The sides have official geocache stickers and the name PINACL printed on it's sides. Inside is an emergency space blanket, several toys, expendable camera (please take your photo) along with all sorts of trinkets. There is a log book and a pen which will be changed to several pencils when cold weather arrives. Please take the time to enjoy our town forest and it's various trails. Take a walk to the summit of the Barton or what we call the Pinnacle to enjoy the view. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy. Water has been noted to be found in the cache box. I've cleaned it out again and wrapped it in a garbage bag. Please put the bag covering over it when you finish. Thanks to all who have gone to find it.
