I am visiting Australia for the first time from the US and would love to meet and greet some local cachers!
What better way than with an awesome view of the red bluff cliffs! I believe that they can be amazing, especially at sunset. Hopefully the weather will cooperate!
Time: 700pm - 8:00pm
I will be holding a raffle for an unactivated geocoin but please feel free to bring any snacks that you would like to share as at this point, I have no idea where to pick any up from!
My primary reason for visiting is to see my daughter for her 21st birthday. She is studying at Monash University for a semester. While I'm in the area though, I might just have some spare time to visit a cache or two, or three, or.........
As the event is set to be outdoors and there is no cover, I will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecasts. If the weather doesn't look good, I'll see about moving the event to a more weather friendly location nearby, so check this page the day before if the weather is suspect!
I will have some trackables from the US, if I haven't already dropped them in caches and will be more than happy to bring any that want to travel back home to the US! Hope to see you there!!
ps I will have some of those small shiny tags with a hole in them with me if anyone wants to trade any!!
