Florentijn Hofman created a floating art instalation that came to Pittsburgh on September 27th 2013 at the international festival of firsts. It was a huge yellow duck over 40 feet tall. We are pretty sure she had over 50 ducklings and they are running around our area.
To celebrate our 1,000 th find we decided to hide our "Duck the Halls" series. There are over 50 rubber ducks hidden through at least 3 counties. Our ducks range from 1.5/1.5 to 4.5/4.5.
These ducks are hidden in everything from guard rails to cliffs to holes in logs and just about anywhere else you can think of. Some of these ducks are located on hunting grounds. If it is please wear orange. If you find a duck please put it back as you found it. There may be some major bushwacking so watch out for torn bushes as well as ticks.
