Santa's Christmas Tree 2014 Traditional Geocache
sagelily: As most logs have attested, this cache locale is quite magical, so it is with some sadness that the Elf-Zecutive Committee has decided to archive it. On a recent attempt to visit the cache, some geocachers were confronted by a somewhat intimidating llama. Our concern is for people's (especially children's) safety. We thank the resident managers of Waupoos Family Farm for sharing this beautiful location with our geocaching community over the past year.

'Tis the day before Christmas.
We elves are abuzz.
And if you don't know why,
It's simply because
We're on a fun mission
To bring caching joy
To every good geo-girl
And geo-boy.
We've rallied the reindeer
And Santa Claus, too.
We've found a fine tree
To hang presents for you.
Some trackables, too,
For grown-ups to choose.
But you'd better go quickly.
Ya dawdle, ya lose!

Santa's Elves
This is a 1.6 km round-trip on existing trails, with no bushwhacking. However, heavy snowfall could raise the terrain rating.
Please note the attributes for this cache. The cache is on private land, and is placed with the generous permission of the resident managers. They request that you park in their parking lot, not on the road. Please seek the cache only during daytime hours, as there are always people in residence. Please be respectful of the residents' privacy and any events that may be taking place during your visit. Sorry, no dogs – they could spook the farm animals, or leave scent that could attract coyotes.
Please do not add to Santa's bounty. However, trackables are welcome!
