Geocache Description:

I have been searching for a nice Bridge off road a bit to place this Challenge Cache which was to mark the achievement of our first 100 Little Bridge Hides, and yes found it Happy Days

The cache is located at the given co-ords but in order to find and log the cache you must first fulfil the following challenge criteria.

I have added a checker for you to see if you qualify for this challenge, the only thing is the checker is only available to premium members (as it relies on a pocket query which is a premium member feature). Made by Dr.Al There is also a book mark list for these Little Bridges on this page put together by qurlez. challenge checker

At the time of publishing this cache there were 100 Little Bridge caches placed by us and many more by other cachers in South Glos

Your challenge is to find 100 Little Bridges

IN THE COUNTY SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE.

So how do I know which of the Little Bridges are in South Glos?

Well,If you click on the OpenStreetMap link in the "For online maps..." section of the cache page, this will show the Boundary for South Gloucester and determine whether the Little Bridge is in the county.

It may take a while or you may already qualify for this challenge cache

I have set the ratings 5/4.5 which I think is fair enough. As there are 5 D Little bridges out there and the rest are spread far and wide. Also it can be a long term goal.

No doubt that there will be more Little Bridges put out by many of us in the future and they will ALL BE PART OF THE CHALLENGE

1 All finds count, past, present and future. So there may be some who are already qualified to claim this cache.

2 You must provide some evidence to show that you have satisfied the criteria for this cache e.g. caches listed in your log, bookmark list or any other means which will enable me to check your entitlement to log a find.

3 Finds still count even if the cache subsequently gets archived.

4 This challenge cache is the 101st LB of our's and it will not be part of the qualifying 100 LB's.

5 If you find this cache but do not yet qualify, write a note on this page and convert it to a find when you later qualify but making sure you inform me of the change so I can check your qualifying caches.

6 Found logs that don't qualify will be deleted.

The Little Bridge View from GZ

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast, Damian from Winter Foxes has created and updates a list of cachers who has found 10 or more little bridges and can be found here, if you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan here and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xx then name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to Damian’s list.

Congratulations to Andy&GirlsUSA on FTF
