Ministro: In line with the guidelines http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx?expand=1#event , events are to be archived once the event is over. They do not need to be left open as people can log the event when it is archived.

I've archived this one for you.

Rgds,
Matt - Ministro.
[red]Before this cache is published, a 'log your find/post reviewer note' is probably the best way to communicate with me. It puts it 'on the record', but comments will be archived before the cache goes on-line. An email is preferable after that.[/red] Have a look here https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=74

Geocache Description:

What is a CITO?

CITO stands for Cache in Trash Out and is a chance for you to clean up your playing field.

Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources!

Date: Sunday 5th April, 2015

Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm

The Plan: All QLD Mega participants will receive a CITO rubbish bag in their registration bags, which can be used during the event, to pick up rubbish while you are out geocaching. For those that are not registered, you can pick up a bag at the drop-off zone.

GZ: The posted co-ordinates are where industrial bins will be located for a drive-through style drop-off of full bags. Cars will be able to pull up at GZ, drop off the bags, and quickly move along so that we can ensure everyone can drop off their rubbish.

Where to CITO: Stanthorpe is a beautiful area, so you may struggle to find an area to CITO. We have added some suggestions below:

  • Mount Marley (including off tracks)
  • Along Quart Pot Creek
  • Along the trails while you are geocaching

Reviewer notes

Use this space to describe your geocache location, container, and how it's hidden to your reviewer. If you've made changes, tell the reviewer what changes you made. The more they know, the easier it is for them to publish your geocache. This note will not be visible to the public when your geocache is published.
