Geocache Description:

Part of the _$p3c14|_Ch4r4c73r$_N33d3d_ = _Special_Characters_Needed_ Series of caches.

CACHE IS NOT HIDDEN AT THE POSTED COORDINATES.  THERE IS NO NEED TO RENT A KAYAK OR SWIM TO THE COORDINATES AS YOU WILL FIND NOTHING BUT WATER THERE!  THE CACHE CAN BE FOUND BY USING SPECIAL CHARACTERS ONLY.

This is one of eleven caches of what I'm calling the _$p3c14|_Ch4r4c73r$_N33d3d_ (aka _Special_Characters_Needed_) series.  It is a series of (I think) easy puzzle/mystery caches hidden along the hike and bike trail close to Southshore Park, along Woodlands Parkway; yes, by the dragon!

TO FIND THIS PARTICULAR CACHE (AND IT'S CODE FOR THE BONUS) YOU WILL NEED TO DETERMINE THE REAL COORDINATES USING SOME KEYBOARDING LOGIC, and the following list of $p3c14| Ch4r4c73r$.

The cache can be found at North #) )(.#$&   West )(% @*.%@@.

It took me just over 2 hours to hide the 11 caches in this series (on foot), so I suspect your searching time will vary but probably be roughly the same amount of time, once you know where all of them are located.

There really isn't a good place to park but I will say that Southshore Park (by the dragon) is just about as midpointish as you will find for the series.  So park somewhere legal and close to Southshore Park and you should be fine!  I walked just over 4 miles (round trip) in hiding them so you will get some walking/biking in if you choose to do them all in one outing!

About the series:

There are lots of special characters that we use in our modern-day every day (sometimes texting sometimes not) language.  Some are found on our keyboards; whether on a computer or a mobile device; others are found by combining letters and other symbols to make up images such as emoticons.

This series, except for the bonus, must be solved using a standard QWERTY keyboard.  The puzzles really aren't that hard!  The hints should give it away if you get stumped!

After finding all of the series caches, you may use the special characters labeled at the top of the log sheets (ie. symbol = number) to find the bonus cache.

AGAIN, THE CACHE IS FOUND AT THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES:  North #) )(.#$&   West )(% @*.%@@

Happy Hunting!
