sull427: I SOooooo hate to get rid of this series. :-( But I seem to have a problem with muggles on the traditional caches, so will have to delete them. Thanks bunches to those who have come to them.

Geocache Description:

The container is NOT located at the posted coords! Complete the task below to get the correct coords.

This series of caches are placed to share a small part of the history of Ramseur, NC. There have been three movies partially filmed here (1967, 1992 & 2014). Such stars as Dick Clark, Merle Haggard, Terrence Knox, Paul Scherrer, Kate Beckinsale are a few. Also lots of locals were used in the movies.

So come walk where the stars have walked and get these caches along the way.

A.  Locate the three traditional caches in the series, sign the log and get the keyword from each container. Enter the keyword into the link on the webpage and answer the two questions about the movie to get two numbers in the coords.

1.  GC5NQCT     Killers Three - - - Click HERE.
2.  GC5NQG5     Children of the Corn II - - - Click HERE.
3.  GC5NQHW   The Disappointments Room - - - Click HERE.

B. Find the keyword from the "When The Stars Came To Town" Travel Bug.

To find the keyword, figure it out from the puzzle (clues) given on the travel bug's webpage. NOTE: the Travel Bug went missing quickly. :-(

Click HERE to go to the travel bug's webpage - TB5GF5Q - to solve for the keyword.

Click HERE to go to the link for the questions for the travel bug.

C. Come find this cache.

Final coords = N 35 4H.AVE W 079 4F.UN!

This cache is a 5/5 D/T for the information needed and the distance/time you will have to travel to get the four caches. The actual cache is a 2/3.5. It may be a higher difficulty/terrain in summer.

A big CONGRATS to Hurricanefan for the FTF!

To keep others from going to the wrong area (7/14/15), I am adding a geochecker.
* * * UPDATE 5/6/17: If the coords don't look right & the geochecker doesn't say they are right, do NOT go looking for the cache in the wrong location. If you can't get your coords to work in the geochecker, please e-mail me with the coords you tried and I will TRY to get back to you quickly. All answers are in the descriptions of the movies and this wasn't meant to be tricky. The purpose was to HAVE FUN and get a smiley in the great outdoors.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
