A seemingly random iron post provides the home for this cache. The post's existence remains a mystery so if anyone can shed some light on this I'd be very grateful!
I passed the post while exploring part of the wonderful London Loop footpath series - a 150 mile orbital walk around London. The post itself is located in Roundabout Wood and bears the text "Isleworth Blue School Governors". I've conacted the two Blue Schools I could find in Isleworth but neither knew anything about this post or its history. Some internet searching also returned no information about Isleworth's connection to the area. Strange indeed!
My daughter helped me place the cache so claims some of the hiding credit.
