Geocache Description:

As you enter Chippokes State Park, you will stop at the Contact Station and pay the parking fee.  Continue straight on to the Visitor Center paking lot.  Stop by the VC to learn more about Chippokes State Park.  Use your GPSr to locate the treasure which is in a moderately wooded area near the VC.  Dont miss visiting the Farm & Forestry and Historic areas!

Much of this Park is in its natural, wild state.  As such, you can expect, insects, spiders, snakes, briars, etc.  Please take appropriate care and precautions for yourself and your children when venturing into the un-mowed areas.  (See Chippokes.com for suggestions.)

Cache is a small plastic bottle back from the woods edge.  It is only a short walk from the Visitor Center parking area.

PLEASE PUT CONTAINER BACK EXACTLY WHERE YOU FOUND IT taking care to leave the cache well-sealed and well-hidden before leaving it.  If it needs maintenance – log missing or wet, etc. – please leave a “Maintenance Log” on geocaching.com.
