Boaters on the Ashby Canal know this area as Duck Bend - there used to be many many ducks here, not so many these days, but enough to bring something to feed them with. Canal and River Trust suggest peas!
There's a convenient layby nearby if visiting by car and you may be lucky in getting a mooring if visiting by boat, but stealth will be required in searching for the cache as there's often boats moored round the bend, cars in the layby and duck-feeding muggles. The cache is a small camouflaged tube. You don't need to remove the cache from its location but you will probably need tweezers to extract the log. Happy Hunting.
