Eulalie_L: Too much ice & snow, also long commute. Waiting for better weather to change log. Also hoping to hand cache over to someone more local.

Geocache Description:

Perinteinen mutta petollisen pieni kätkö Liminganjoen Raittisillan alueella. A traditional cache of sneaky nano size located in the area of the Liminka River Foot Bridge.

Kätkö on nanokokoinen. Kunnioita siltaa!

The Liminka River Foot Bridge was built during the summer-fall of 2014. Its attractions are walking, running, biking, or jumping over a river without being run over by a motorized vehicle or getting one's feet wet up to the armpits. During its construction the neighbourhood was shook by heavy machinery – windows rattled and teeth hummed. The construction workers confirmed what the locals already knew – that motorists refuse to slow down for anyone, not even for nasty, hastily-constructed (and daily reinforced) speed bumps. The brightly-painted red supporting beams are meant to mimic the shape of traditional wood foot-bridges from the area.

The cache is nano-sized. The log sits snugly in the lid (you might need tweezers to get it out), and it has to be tightly rolled in order to fit back into the lid. Please take care not to drop it in the river. You do not need to climb on or under the bridge, nor do you need to unscrew anything. Please respect the bridge!

Ei kynää. Ei löydy jos hanskoja käytetään. No pencil. Won't find it with gloves on... I don't want to be responsible for people taking their gloves off in -20C.

Talvella kätkö on jumissa jäässä. Not available during winter when the cache is frozen in ice.
