Geocache Description:

This cache used to be part of the Royal Deesiders Geotour. The Geotour has now finished but the cache can still be found and logged

Craigendarroch Hill is rightly known for its oaks, which bring it SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) status. Caches on the hill have been placed with approval of the landowners, Invercauld Estate, and permission from Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH). As the path winds up (and up) the hill more and more of the view is revealed until the whole panorama is there from the cairn. On the way back down you might change your mind about the name as it rapidly becomes the Hill of Rocks. Care should be taken.
