There is parking next to the cache location. Please note the attributes and only attempt if you are confident in your climbing ability. Geocaching and the CO take no responsibility in any injury which occurs as a result of this cache. This cache is a tree climb and will require climbing equipment, hence the T5 rating. Please also bring a pen to sign the log.
Now to the cache itself:-
This cache has been placed as I've not come across many T5 caches around North Wales & certainly not come across any like this !
Being a fan of this type of cache & having set a number of these in Surrey thought I'd bring a little taster to Betws y coed, the cache is on the river side of the tree & can be difficult to spot but is about a 1.5L screw top pot covered in black tape secured to the tree with paracord also the lid is connected the the pot with paracord as is the log so no taking the log back to ground please ! If you standup the left / river side of the mighty oak to the left of the cache tree it is possible to see the cache from the ground although it may be an idea to bring a monoscope or binoculars to make life that bit easier, please only log it as a find if you ascend to the cache, seeing from the ground doesn't count ( log must be signed )
Pics of your exploits are welcome but please do not give away the exact cache placement in your log.
Hope you have fun doing this cache but please stay safe & think safety all the way !
I hope to see a few more caches like this popping up in the area so I & others would have a few more tasty D/T ratings to do on future breaks in the area.
