Crossing the Ford Traditional Geocache

The beautiful quiet River Dove, passes over the pretty Yoadwath Ford on its way to join the River Rye.

You will need a pen.

This is a nice walk from Kirkbymoorside or from Hutton Le Hole, but take care crossing the ford, as it gets deep!   There is a footbridge to cross if you prefer.  The Road from Kirkbymoorside is driveable, the road from Hutton le Hole is steep and gravelled!

There used to be a water powered cornmill here, but just the Mill houses remain ( or have been rebuilt ).
