This cache was hidden on June 12, 2015 to commemorate the opening of the art show BASIN & RANGE at the Donna Beam Fine Art Gallery. Basin & Range features a number of artists from Southern Nevada who have responded to an area identified as Basin and Range. The exhibition includes a variety of 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional and electronic media pieces that highlight the natural beauty of the area as well as Michael Heizer’s Double Negative. The cache is hidden in a small ceramic rock sculpture.
