Chastised by the sheriff for failing to capture the Bushranger after finding his lair (GC5WHEM), Constable Plodfoot called on his most trusted informant, Nimble-Fingered Neddy, former pickpocket turned piano player at the Noo's Waterhole tavern. But Neddy wouldn't talk, instead going to his keyboard and playing a couple of bars.

Although blessed with perfect pitch and impeccable memory, Plodfoot couldn't make any sense of it. I need A starting point to ZERO in on, he thought as he left the tavern, humming those notes over and over to himself.
