I first came to France last year, on my Geocaching Bike Trip across Europe (raduclapa.ro/GBTE). It is true, I saw less of the country than I would have liked it, but that just means I have to come back again, and again :D And here I am, doing just that!
This is a picture of me, while I was geocaching near Avignon last year.
If you read some of the things written on my blog using the link above (and I warmly invite you to do it), it means you kinda already know me, so let's meet face to face now. That's what this event is for!
One of the biggest regrets I have from my trip last summer is that I didn't make events in every major city I went, in every country I crossed. But I was a beginner geocacher so I didn't know about events and things like that. This time I am not going to make the same mistake.
I am going to fly from Copenhagen to Nice on August 17th, arriving in Nice Airport at 10:40.

I have never been to the city, so I do not know a good meeting place and that is why I placed McDonalds as GZ. I figured we can stay outside at one of the tables on the first floor. I will be there starting from 12:00 until 13:00. We can meet at the entrance between 11:55 and 12:00, and then go in.
On the other hand, I have never had people waiting for me at the airport, like you see in the movies, so if anyone wants to wait for me at the „arrivals” terminal, that would be super awesome! After I land, I plan to go and search some caches in the area and then head for the Event.
So, Nice, here I come! I do not know just how big the geocaching community is in that area, but I look forward to meet you all!
After Nice, I am heading towards Avignon, so If anyone is going that way and could give me a lift that would be the most awesome thing ever!
