You are now 4.3 miles(by road) NE of the National Headquaeters for the North Country Trail. The HQ is located at 229 E. Main in Lowell, MI. You can get maps and much more info about this 4200 mile Trail(1150 of it in Mich).
North Country Trail#1 was a "gimmie" to pique your interest. NCT #2 is quite the contrary; it starts as a one and ends as close to 4+. The cache is a red 2lbs coffee can covered with a baggie and some leaves. The contents are:The Purple Bear "Travel Bug"from Chief Noonday(Devil's Soupbowl), a box of wooden matches from "Legal Seafoods" resturants in Boston, Mass., a book of matches from "The Bucket of Blood Saloon" Virginia City(Reno)Nevada, the blue wax star from "Schoolhouse Road" cache,a towelet.
