As I was performing maintenance on another one of my "Restin' " caches nearby, I passed a road with a name that indicated the presence of a cemetery. (Cemetary (sic) Rd). After checking my phone app to see if there was a cache at a cemetery up the road, I found nothing and took the short little drive to the graveyard.
The cemetery is within sight of a rail line, which I believe is no longer in use. This is the "new" St. James cemetery which is all relative. There aren't the typical old headstones from the early to mid 1800s here, but having said that, the inscriptions are easier to read. One thing which struck me about this site, was that several of the gravemarkers included a photo of the deceased and etchings of the hobbies or loves of the deceased.
There is no sign to indicate the name or denomination of the graveyard, but was able to find out its name by doing a bit of Internet research. It's certainly not very common to not as least have a name, let alone some contact information. There's a mix of French and Anglo names which is representative of the area.
